I got all the normal achievements in normal play.
I ground out the Pyro, which messed up my stats for that class, and used the workaround for the Heavy.
I'll be using the workaround again for the scout update. I object strongly to the principal of unlockable weapons in multiplayer FPS. It's just not Fun.

Achievements should be kept for people who like to do achievements, rather than forced on people.

Now, if they could back-date the achievements so that things you had done pre-update counted, it wouldn't be so bad.

you can download a program that unlocks all achievements in the click of a button. It's undetectable by valve.

I love the unlockables - it's nice to get a piece of chocolate cake every day rather than pig the whole thing down in 10 minutes and throw up.

Sorry mate but they would have to record anything you do if they were to retrospect things like that Sad (as they are not aware what the achievements are going to be before they make them)

It would be nice but it's not happening.

I like unlockabales - as long as they don't unbalance the classes (which often happens because everyone plays the same damn class after an update). Valve should pick two classes and update at the same time.. at least we'd have some variety!
