Uh-oh, the scout update is coming closer: http://www.1fort.com/blog/scouting-ahead/ (which has a nice summary of news etc.) Notably they did a lot of playtesting for the replacement to the scattergun. Makes me wonder...and hope for the best (since I barely play scout, even less the pyro). Good news for heavies though; next patch will have a slight boost to the speed slowdown of sascha! Finally I might be able to properly make use of the gun, especially when juicy scouts come on though.

Can't wait for tomorrows update, hoping for a lil' map with it No joy at all directed at the scout update unless it brings some kind of "Meet the..." video

Just you wait, come the revolution, your head will be the first on a spike.
Scout pwn is coming. I personally can't wait. I genuinely mouthdroped when my RSS scanner told me there was a TF2 Blog update this morning.

I am just saying that there are classes with more issues than the scout and that the scout can do without an update. No need to spike my fat head! I am also pretty convinced that the scatter gun replacement will be the needlegun and that it will make the scout invariable in combat but make him able to possibly kill a sentry from a distance (like in TFC)

I'm actually rather glad I'm not around for this update, an influx of Scouts is my worst nightmare!

I'm going heavy with Natasha for the duration - or find new and interesting placements for sentrys

Other good news: http://csnation.totalgamingnetwork.com/viewnews.php/10545“There is still some work going into the next update for Team Fortress 2. We were hoping to have this out this week, but with the extra testing we need to do, the update has been pushed back to early next week. This update will include the timeout fix during map change.” Finally!

*Cough* Is it unethical to point out that there is a workaround for the achievements? *cough*
