I think it's because it's a small indoor style map that Engi's can lock down really effectively. Also I hate it because it's not sniper friendly (seems counter intuitive since there are always loads of snipers on it, but trust me)

basically it's defence friendly, which leads to stalemates, and frustration because you need a lot of co-ordination to successfully break through.

It's so good as Engie, Spy, Sniper (so long as you're not the camper kind), demo, scout, pyro soldier, pretty much everything (medic is standard, although this map is fucking awesome for daisy-chaining, and heavy can hold the bridge pretty well (watch for snipers)).
