I just bought (a few days ago) bought the two first Oddworld games (the original Abe's games) and they are absolutely awesome!

Oddworld on Wikipedia

All the games in the series are worth playing but the two first are by far the best and they are more true to the story.

(the two games can be found on steam for $15 so go get them!)Link

One of the oldest games I can remember playing as a kid, I sucked at it back then, and generally ran around wildly hoping for the best.

I played it again for the month I had no internet, kept me sane Tongue Completed both Abes Oddessye and Abes Exoddus, saving all the mudokens Cheesy

Awesome game

As things stand so far, I'm halfway through Crysis, Painkiller, Fallout 3, Deus Ex 2 and haven't even started the 3 Theif games, Psychonauts, Crysis Warhead and L4D (in any depth)! I'm ok for new games at the moment mate!
