Hi,
My name's Nine Blade... I'm very old and live somewhere near Preston. I'm a throwback from the early TFC days and am still getting to grips with TF2. The WDG server is great fun and really friendly. It's a shame there's not much going on in the daytime coz that's when I tend to play most to take my mind off work  Smiley

The %i was used in TFC binds to show the username in the 'say' command.
In the pre- TeamSpeak days everyone just used to spam with silly taunts like these:

bind f6  "say Speaking of good times, I spent last night with %i 's mother"
bind f7  "say Don't kill me. I have a wife and 2 kids... Kill them"
bind f8  "say That llama %i left me with %a armour and only %h health  "
bind f9 "say I just made %i my man whore"
bind f10 "say Hey %i, change your name to Nineblade's Bitch"

Not sure if it still works like that Smiley
