Odd thing. I've been happily using Avast version 4.8 for a long time. But I never realised that version 5 was availble. All that time I've been hitting "Update program" and it's stayed 4.8.

So version 5 is availble. In short, thay've made it pretty. Also the fella has been replaced by some lass. It also does graphs and things, I've no idear what they do. Also something about a "Gaming mode". I'll look at that button later.

my 4.8 sends popups saying new version available which i enevitably ignore, it only downloads fixes for the current version as far as i know.
