It sounds interesting, combining a tcg with what sounds like an attempt to introduce an element of role play and storytelling.
That's what tcg have always lacked for me.
The nearest to a storytelling tcg I've played was Mythos. This was based on the Cthulthu mythos (immediate plus point
) and players gained points for completing adventures using adventure cards.
Cthulhu is more of a niche market, Mythos didn't really sell. Being ordinary fantasy Hex could work if they do it well.
