They were in MW2 and basically gave you an extra perk if you died 3 times in a row without getting a kill. It was usually cheap stuff like dropping a grenade on death or going into last stand or some shit, fucking anoying and not at all helpful to anyone as they only kicked in when you died again...

Custom kill streaks can provide interesting strats I imagine.

I had no interest in this until Cow mentioned it and after a bit of reading like the look of it. Anyone else have any interest? Really like the sound of the single player, MP can take or leave. It's on amazon of £25 atm, for release on the 18th March.

Also, theres a TF2 hat for Chaos to fap over.

I was interested - the trailers for it looked good - but after being ripped off for Medal of Honor I'm not sure I want to set myself up for that disappointment all over again having read some of the reviews that say that's it's a very linear and scripted shooter.

might give it a go, the trailers are interesting and there is a dramatic lack of alternative history games out there. that said, most modern warfare shooters are shit and if it's like frontlines then doubly so

RPS hands-on preview pretty much killed any slight interest I had in this. The storyconcept is cool though, sounds like Red Dawn: The Game ...only with Koreans.

Dude that wrote Red Dawn wrote the story for this game didn't he?

@Deadly, nothing wrong with scriped and linear as long as its done well; the main problem with MoH (from what I've heard) is that it didn't let you know what you should be doing or where you should be going.

Will do moar reading tonight, shame most of the previews are panning it though Sad.

Pretty damning that. Most of everything else I've read said similar things so I guess its back on the "don't really give two shits about but will probably pick it up if its cheap" pile.
