Two blockbuster series from the late 80's/early 90's are back ... as episodic adventure games?

lolwhut?
I've quite enjoyed the wallace and gromit series and the new sam and max series so far the only complaints i'd level at telltale is sometimes their stuff lacks a little polish, the plots sometimes just wander a bit, and the little details arn't perfect. I really couldn't get past the wallace and gromit games using the backup voice actor for wallace. Just sounded so wrong. And that would be my biggest fear for these, they will be interesting games with reasonable plots but you'll hear doc brown talking and cry inside because thats not doc brown.

That could be the first time that the German version brings advantages. If they really use the voice actors of the movies.

A bit...late?
Well, if they give themselves some time, Back to the Future could be released when #2 played: 2015! (where is my stinkin' hoverboard?)
BTTF I can see working as adventure (more doc brown would be great, though it won't be doc brown), but how do you make a thrilling/scary JP adventure? Adventures are well known for being slow pathed and giving you ample time to think (the good ones at least).
Gameboards? Where we're playing we don't need gameboards!

I signed up for episode 1 for free, only thing you have to wait until episode 2 or 3 comes out, which won't be for another few months.

Just completed episode one.
Was quite good, a bit short in comparison to other TT episodic titles although it works out at £3 an episode atm whilst other games like this (Monkey Island and Sam and Max) worked out at around £5-6 a go.
Whilst I thought Monkey Island was perhaps the more complex in terms of the puzzles you solve (that, along with Puzzle Agent although that is merely a pilot so far), Back to the Future seems to have a more simplistic range of puzzles with perhaps only the later puzzles taking more then say 5-10 minutes to solve. Overall, it took me two hours to complete the first episode whilst the S&M games took me on average around 3-4 hours to complete.
If you're into BttF and still unsure, I'd suggest doing what Dibble and Disco are doing and wait for the demo which should come out in February.

I thought that puzzle agent had the most simple puzzles and I was a little disappointed in it to be honest.
