Found this through Rock Paper Shotgun- it's a game supposedly based on the theme of domestic violence, but more Henry VIII than actual beating. You play a queen thrown into a pit o' death by a king, who then has to try and escape. It's from the Trials 2 school of platforming- pretty hard, and unforgiving- every time you die you start again. Brilliantly, it'll be a new queen with a new appearance and name- the latest replacement the King has found and dumped (literally). It's worth noting that there's only 4 screens, and once you're past the first 2 it's pretty hard to fail.

My eventual escapee was one petite blonde named Queen Ygraine, who sounds like a bit of a headache.

Was pretty easy really, the hardest part of it was the controls. I can never get used to having the jump button to the left of the directional buttons, it doesn't feel right.

If you want a difficult platformer give 'I wanna be the guy' a try. Actually, on second thoughts, don't. That game makes you want to break things.
