Last night at around midnight (between 11-12 i think) we got a 2.8Mb patch for TF2!
there were no notes to come with it at all!
there were a few files effected, like the main hl2.exe and a few others.
DoD:S also got the same update so I'm guessing it was for the source engine for some reason?

Once it was applied it stopped TF2/DoD:S from working. Open up, get to the splash image and then Crash to desktop!
about an hour later, then added another patch that got it working again, but still no release notes Sad
Id kinda like to know what is going on?

Maybe theyr getting ready for the new headgear?
or bringing back the equip binds?
even could be something to do with the steam cloud?

who knows!
Im hoping for both to be honest!

Team Fortress 2 Update Released
May 1, 2009, 2:41 pm - Valve
Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Team Fortress 2


Updated cp_egypt with changes based on player feedback, added additional health/ammo and updated routes
