As weird as it may sound, scouts are very good for defence on gravelpit. They have mobility to relocate to B if necessary, and otherwise are handy at A. I firmly believe, that a split force defence is possible on gravelpit, with microphones, however, I would like to test this sometimes.

Before now, myself and Terror (as scout and spy, obviously) have defended A, admitedly the majority of the offence went to B, but that just made it easier to pick off the 1 or 2 that came to A. I think whoever said B is a "static" defence (think it was Tea) and A is more fluid was spot on; different hats required. I think if you get the heavier classes at B (engie, heavy, demo/solly) and get pyros, scouts etc at A you should be able to hold both for a while (against split offenses anyway).

Setup time is a downside. Might work with 2 engies cooperating.
Also a single skilled roof monkey approaching from the blind spot might be troublesome.

On dispenser, throw a tp exit on the ledge above the door. Teleport up to the exit, destroy and throw it up on the edge of the roof. If you had time (or 2 engies) you could get a lvl3 disp up as well and maybe 2 sentries. Let's give it a try sometime Smiley
