With the recent release of Megaman 9 (and my recent frustration of having to do ALL of Wily's Castle AGAIN after a power cut), I felt I would like to share a little TF adaptation I thought up.
Story:
Dr. Medic has enslaved the entire RED team, promising them infinite ubercharges! Only one man from the BLU team, Civilian Man, can stop the doctor's insane plans!
Bosses:
Scout Man He is very fast and jumps around the stage a lot. Civilian Man has to dodge and be on his toes against Scout Man or he'll get a scattergun blast to the face! Luckily, Scout Man doesn't have much health compared to the other bosses. Weapon - Scout Scattergun. This weapon does lots of damage up close, but is pathetic from far away. Weak Against - Heavy Sasha.
Soldier Man He is kinda slow, both himself and his rockets, but he has a fair bit of health and the rockets do lots of damage, even the splash. He occasionally rocket jumps off the screen, then lands again in a rain of rockets, so watch out! Dodging is key to this fight. Weapon - Soldier Rocket. This weapon fires a powerful rocket, but it travels slowly and uses lots of weapon energy. Weak Against - Scout Scattergun.
Pyro Man One of the toughest bosses, Pyro Man is very powerful at close range and Civilian Man will be dead within seconds if the flamethrower gets him! However, if Civilian Man can keep his distance and watch Pyro Man's movements, he might have a chance. Weapon - Pyro Flamethrower. This weapon does loads of damage at short range and also has a compression blast for blowing enemies away. Weak Against - Engineer Sentry.
Engineer Man He sits behind his Level 3 Sentry all day long. Civilian Man must destroy it first. The sentry is very powerful and the Engineer has a shotgun to fire at you too, but using cover and careful tactics, the sentry will be destroyed. After that, Engineer Man comes out to fight you himself, but he's pathetic compared to the other bosses by himself. Weapon - Engineer Sentry. This weapon deploys a sentry, but it uses LOTS of weapon energy and fades away after a certain amount of time. Weak Against - Demoman Sticky.
Heavy Weapons Guy Man The longest named boss also has the most health and raw strength. Covering is important in the fight. However, he is slow and takes time to use his gun, so this fight is about patience; Civilian Man must jump out, take some shots, then retreat before being turned into swiss cheese by bullets. Weapon - Heavy Sasha. This weapon does lots of damage and has a wide spread, but requires time to charge up and uses a fair bit of weapon energy. Weak Against - Sniper Rifle.
Demoman Man The name is, uh... Yeah. Demoman Man hides behind a wall and fires sticky bombs over them to try and get you. He changes his position, so get him while he leaves himself open. Try not to stand on any stickies, they hurt like hell. Weapon - Demoman Sticky. This weapon sticks to surfaces, but uses a high amount of weapon energy. Weak Against - Soldier Rocket.
Sniper Man He runs away through a large open course, trying to headshot you as he runs. Use cover and patience for this fight as Sniper Man can kill you very easily if you stay still or in the open. If Civilian Man gets through the whole course, Sniper Man will resort to his SMG. Good thing Sniper Man is very weak with it. Weapon - Sniper Rifle. This weapon does lots of damage from far away, but is pathetic at close range. Weak Against - Spy Knife.
Spy Man He disappears and reappears randomly, either to shoot you with his magnum or to try and backstab you for lots of damage. Civilian Man must be careful and keep moving, lest he be assassinated. Occasionally, Spy Man will run out of cloak. While recharging, he is very vulnerable. Take the oppurtunity to get him. Weapon - Spy Knife. This weapon does loads of damage to enemies facing away from you, but is pathetic against those that are facing you. Weak Against - Pyro Flamethrower.
...Anyway, that's what I thought it could be like. Thoughts?
