Warhammer online... anyone going to be playing that? I have always been a big Warhammer fan (seriosly, when I was yonger I had glasses, ginger hair, braces and I liked warhammer.... doh) so I am looking forward to this game. Possibly not as much as diablo 3, but I am still going to give it a try.
Anyone else?

Yup, pre-ordered collectors edition for months, see you on the 7th September for Open Beta? Playing Goblin Shaman with a friend who'll possibly be Black Orc, would be nice if we can hook up on the same server when it goes live.

I paint miniatures, but I'm not a big fan of GW. That doesn't mean all products in the Warhammer IP are bad - they have some nice minis and I love DoW - but it does mean that I am somewhat sceptical of whatever they're cooking up. On top of it all I absolutely refuse to buy a game and then pay monthly for the privilege to play it.
Interested - kinda. Will I play it? No.

If someone didn't pay monthly for TF2 you wouldn't have any servers to play on. There's a huge expense in running such games, so I'm willing to pay a small amount to play a fun game

I'm kinda interested, but i pretty much ruined my first few years at Uni with a WoW addiction, and then got bitten by the Age of Conan flop a few months back, so i'm a tad wary in picking up an MMO again - It's money i don't have and my parents will disown me if i fail another year at uni through being too tired/lazy to go to lectures

I'm quite interested in this too, I also had a passion for painting armies of oddly coloured men (seriously, what kind of cammo is red or blue?).
Also while my house was (and still is) broken a builder came into my room and we had a chat about it, he seemed to love it, lol.

Just in case you're not aware, the Open Beta client is available to download from http://www.war-europe.com if you have an account there. Only download it if you're going to have access to Open Beta though, otherwise just wait for your discs to arrive near release

As a ex WOW player I am tempted, the green skins look hilarious. The awesome looking Spore is out the same week though so I think I'll be playing that instead. Then Little Big Planet is out a month later and then Left4Dead in November... I think I'm going to need state intervention to make me leave the house this autumn!
If I do give in to the hype I'll be playing Goblin Shaman too as it seem the only healing class on the greens.

War? What is it good for?
As I have no interest whatsoever in Warhammer I am so tempted to give the obvious answer here.

If any one wants a free try like me (to confirm that this MMORPG will be just as boring as the rest) go here for a beta key: http://www.fileplay.net/keys/warhammer
