Hey
As you may or may not know, the good folks at CD Projekt RED and GOG are releasing, along with the new The Witcher III, a board game entitled the Witcher: Adventure Game that will have a digital version with single and multi player modes. They are currently running a closed beta to test both the online portion of the Adventure Game and their new launcher, GOG Galaxy.

I happen to be in the closed beta and they offered me a spare key, anybody here wants to try the game out (it is still on an early stage but playable and with new content incoming soon)?
There are public and private games available at the moment

Just to be clear to avoid any disappointments: the closed beta is for the digital version of The Witcher Adventure Game not for The Witcher 3!

Hm... I wouldn't mind giving it a go, but if there is anyone who likes the idea of the game more than me then yeah. They should get it. I'm not a big board game guy.

You should rethink your life.
But yeah it is mostly a preview of what the FFG board game will be although it is looking pretty good (even if this is still an early beta with plenty of bugs to go around and lack of features) and if you like the Witcher books/games, you will still get a kick out of it.

It's the digital counterpart to the upcoming FFG (the same guys behind the A Game of Thrones, Star Wars X-wing, and upcoming XCOM boardgames) that will release around the same time as the new Witcher videogame. This is meant to allow you to play single player with AIs or online with other people remotely. If I'm not mistaken, it will be offered to people who pre-order Witcher 3 or buy the boardgame itself.

how the hell is tabletop sim even legal with all those famous titles available in the workshop? some aren't even allowed in open source projects like vassal
