The servers are still up but they're not very good quality servers.
That and the map rotations all have all the bad maps in a row.
Personally I got sick of it (and Hi-rez not doing anything to fix some rather signifigant bugs and exploits, heck there's a command in the game that highlights the hitbox for every player on the map, even the invisible ones) and uninstalled a few weeks ago.

Tribes is fun, but it's pay to win.

Voted Tagpro, had a lot of fun with it last time, it's the exact type of game I like at Llama nights, casually competitive, with a bit of shit talking and a lot of laughs. Perfect.

I played a fair bit of Tribes and I'm going ot have to disagree with this.
Tribes is certainly not pay to win. The default loadouts are mostly decent. There are things that you have to grind (or pay) for that have a large impact but winning without them is still quite possible. Similar to TF2 in that regard.
Buggy, unfinished and abandoned by the developer? Yes.
Pay to win? No.

Regardless of that, onwards to the popping of balls!
