I got a 2.1 sound bar for the TV in the living room as my combined Christmas/birthday present from my mum.
I also got the usual collection of silly presents:
- Star Wars Origami book
- An "I could eat a horse" kitchen apron - complete with cuts of horse and associated meals (lasagne, meatballs etc.)
- A 'splat' cutting board
- A 'man fluff and assorted pocket coinage' tray (my aunt got a 'teabag mountain' tray)
- Triceratops cookie cutter
I've also been saving up to get laptop so I bought myself that for Christmas - the lenovo yoga 13 - the laptop with the hinge that swings all the way around like a tablet (or 'tent mode'). Pretty neat bit of kit and actually found myself using the touch-screen quite a lot.
I bought my mum a 1m high, 110kg Japanese pagoda for the garden for Christmas (I wrapped the small top piece and let her open that on Christmas morning before having to go outside in my PJs to move it from the shed into the garden. I also got her a large box full of chocolate (as in a large cardboard box filled with assorted Thornton's goodies). Should keep her going for a while!
