Well I have now found myself again.

I'll try and make an easier path now between where we are and the jungle area.

Tunnel dug.

It's above the lake through the arch behind the pagoda, dug into the cliff. It takes you straight through.

Has anyone claimed that giant spire you can see from the top of the tower next to the pagoda? It's calling out to me to have something evil and foreboding-looking built on it

Does anyone have 3 wool they could spare? the hike back up to the top is somewhat annoying when i die :p

Also while I think of it, you might want to expand the platform at the pagoda to cover the spawn chunk, spawning in water that deep is a bit annoying

Though you might be able to use the new /setworldspawn to set a specific point? it's not too clear if it moves the spawn to the chunk the coords are in or to the exact coords you specify (or where you are standing when you use it if you don't put coords in, prolly quicker that way seeing as you'd have to stand there to get the coords anyway).

Yes. I have some but different colours, not sure if that makes a difference, you can grab some from one of my chests.

If you go through the tunnel I dug into the jungle area, there are quite a lot of sheep (never thought of sheep as jungle animals).

I've set up a farm for everyone to use next to the spawn

Got: Chickens, Sheep, Wheat, Potatoes, Carrots, Cocoa Beans, Sugar Cane, Brown Mushrooms, Red Mushrooms, Ocelots, Melons, Cows, Pigs, Pumpkins
Need: Horses, Wolves, Nether Wart, Mooshrooms

One should not farm Ocelots Are they free range ocelots?

I know you can make minecarts

I haven't come across any horses so I suspect that they might be a long way away. Getting them to the farm might be really tricky so could you put them in a minecart and push them along?

Same with wolves.

See the problem with horses is that you still need the rare saddle to ride one.

I can possibly spawn a couple nearby in a hidden location and you can take it from there.

and wolves follow you after you tame them anyway

Leads will also let me leave ocelots/wolves tied to fences in an actual breedable state at the farm too, currently i have to be there to tell them to stop sitting around doing nothing

As to finding slimes, they now spawn in the dark on the surface in swamp biomes (as well as the old layer <40 in random chunks), so keep an eye out for them swampy trees, lily pads and shallow water.... although i don't know how amplified will have affected swamps, judging by the jungle there might not be as much water.

Eh drat, I thought it was the person who did the feeding that got ownership of the born ocelot/wolf, but it's apparently randomly chosen between the owners of the parents, guess I can still leave one of each there for other people to breed with if they only have one of their own.

Horses though, the foal is untamed and has to be tamed once it reaches adulthood
