Crying like a girl refers to people sounding like a crying girl, I don't know how else to describe it or why it seems to be offensive to you? Is there a politically correct term to replace the word "girl" with?

It's more the perceived propensity (stereotype) for little girls to cry dramatically at fairly innocuous things. e.g creepy crawlies. Saying someone cries like a little girl is about them acting disproportionately rather than the actual sound.

You could say "baby" for a more politically correct phrase, Power.
Babies are unlikely to come after you for using their demographic as an insult.

I dunno Zarf, if I encountered a four legged monster in an abandoned asylum I wouldn't say crying about that is a disproportional reaction. If you sound like a girl while doing that however, I think it's fair to describe it as such.
He cries like a non gender-specific person of unspecified age and no particular racial background.
I think I got all bases covered now.

As promised, this is my gaming setup This the study, for serious gaming. And this is where I do 99% of my gaming I sit in the bit where there is no cat with the laptop on my knee. The bit of the sofa between me and the cat is where the mouse goes. It's a seriously pro setup

Haha awesome. I thought for a second you had upgraded your 'mouse' to a 'cat' peripheral and I was going to ask what the sensitivity was like but I'd imagine it's probably pretty unreliable.
