Is there anyone involved who cant download a game in 24 hours?
I think it's a fair assumption that most people have jobs/families/weekend activities and such usually only have their PCs on during evenings and one evening isn't really enough to download a game (on average...especially when they might actually want to play games on their evenings as well).
I think a late vote is fairer than an "executive" decision.
Given my comments above, we will always end the original vote on Friday. Like I said - we're not going to just can the results of the vote in favour of a free weekend (but any game that is on a free weekend is preferable because that way everyone can download and play so you get more people to play with). Also - the free weekends only happen like what...once a month - if that? If we really can't decide which to go for - we can always stick up a short vote, ask the people that voted or something like that.
