I agree. 2 weeks maximum for any game. More than that then it will start to become regular and anyone who doesn't want to play it will start to be excluded and other games knocked out.
I'd suggest that if a game does prove popular then anyone who wants to continue playing it, just sorts out other nights to play it amongst themselves.

How would L4D2 work? I do have the game although I don't play it often but if I remember correctly there's a limit of 4 or 8 players (depending on the mode)... or is there one mod that allows for more players?

To be honest I'm not sure. We could divide up into groups or play the appropriate mode depending on numbers

I guess you just have to see how many people there are and split into appropriate sized groups. I don't think it really matters if you have a group or two with only three people (you can all just bully the bot).
It would be cool if the groups got mixed up after each game, but obviously each game might not take the same amount of time so that might not work.

By the way, even though you can only vote once, you can change your vote.

I'd rather arrange to play the DNIEPR campaign outside of Llama nights as it's only for 4 people.
I think some sort of guidelines for criteria of suitable games to select/play is probably something like the following: - Cheap, free or on a free weekend OR a significant number of players have it (from the GWIPTPWM thread) - Beginner friendly *or* have enough experienced players - Suitable for varying player numbers (I'd expect typically 5-15) either by 'borrowing' a server or just joining a pub server - Preferably allows for drop-in/drop-out play - Can be reasonably easily installed/configured in an evening before the event

I'm in for L4D2!
If I can suggest a few other games: Awesomenauts(I have it already, but now it's also in the HB8, we could fight between or against others), Tribes(mentioned before, still I'd like to try it).

At the last minute L4D2 surged (can zombies surge?) past Terrorists in Terror Town to cross the finish line first!
Therefore the game selected for Llama Night #2 is Left 4 Dead 2
