Well I don't know what will happen. On one hand, many many textures are still missing by the look of it, on the other hand the final version would be more optimized hopefully... I'm going to play the beta some more before buying.

Yeah I thought that too Power. At the moment it doesn't look as good as bf3 does or play as well but this is the beta so hopefully it improves

I dunno I played some Bf3 the other day and I think I prefer 4 already. Will compare some more but most of the tweaks have been improvements and brought more skill into the game. Like defibs are no longer spammy and require a decision on how much charge to use. Vehicles are less powerful and theres more threats but that means more tanks in play and more chance to actually get to drive. And I could still demolish people when trying. All classes, weapons and vehicles starting with one useful perk in each slot is good. The lifts and other little usable items like the store shutters and bollards are nice little fun touches. The tower collapse is a little scripted but its still fun to murder all the campers and get the boat if they are annoying you. All the classes are a bit more versatile with weapon and gadget choices.
Some of the weapons seem a bit too fast to kill but i'm sure they will get balanced.
Only thing I don't like is the battlepacks, but as long as I never actually have to pay for them and you can keep getting more forever over time then meh. Always a dumb idea but at least they aren't pay to open or full of weapons and hats.

Updates in Beta Patch #2 for PC (Oct 10)
-Two fixes for the long/permanent loading times
-Various improvements in performance for users running quad core or six core CPU's
-Fixed a crash that happened for some dual core CPU users after loading
-Fixed a crash relating to DirectX10 graphics cards
-Various stability fixes
-Various crash fixes This has fixed stuttering and made the game smoother for me, so worth checking out if you had any trouble performance wise |

I got BF4 + Premium Service DLC for £54.99 from SimplyCDKeys (although it seems to have gone up to £59.99 now). The game on it's own from them is £29.99.
Seemed like a good deal considering the Premium Service is like £40 on it's own and the game seems to be £29.99-£44.99
