you realise that didn't exactly help your argument right? think only one person in that vid was wearing a helmet. But helmets are a must, I used to be of the clan of OMGHELMETSRLAME, but after having seen a guy I was with fall of the side of the piste and slam head first into a tree, wouldn't go out without one (fyi, his helmet was completely destroyed, and he came out with only a minor concussion, lucky as fuck) plus I managed this one last time I was out: and that was through a helmet and goggles safety first kids!

Looks a belter mama. I need to get a helmet but never got round to it. I smashed my face off ice pretty hard 2weeks ago up Cairngorms. not good times. Do you still have some sort of hat underneath? Or is helmet warm enough

I just can't get used to wearing a helmet, probably due to the fact I have a large head and have always had a problem with hats. My head suddenly feels a lot heavier and it puts off my balance / peripheral vision when wearing one.
If anything I feel less safe using one, personal choice really but eh.

helmets are a must
This. Got a mate whose Dad is a mountain leader in Chamonix and the number of stories he has got of people who have been killed but would have been fine had they had one makes me sick. Pretty sure they are talking of making it compulsory for everyone in some areas now. Just a case of getting used to it - but made me much more confident on rails and boxes when I wasn't fussed if I fell back on them.

I've been there, lack of snowfall that year made it kinda sucky but wasn't the worst experience I have had in Europe and it was somewhat pleasent to ski in warmer conditions, in fact temperatures in Europe never really fall too low and when they do it is pretty infrequent which makes it the only thing I prefer in Europe over North America.
