My pressies included a couple of Terry Pratchett books, Dodger and The Compleat Ankh Morpork, an amazing work of art if you are at all interested in the Discworld saga.  I also got an airzooka a decent coat and tons of snacks

A friend of mine had a lifesize cardboard cutout of Orlando Bloom as Legolas from Lord of the Rings which she kept in her bedroom. She took him on our group holiday too.

She said he was more reliable than any man. Being cardboard he probably was more predictable.

Her boyfriend (now husband) eventually got used to him.
