That happened to me the first time I went in, I struggled on a bit, then started a new game, that time I did awesome and beat the game. Learning curve bro, get on it.

brahms you are on normal right? just train up some new guys and do some more research you should be fine.
Probably going to have to scrap this run too, got 5 nations about to leave and nothing I can do after 2 months. Also an outsider just killed two of my guys when I couldn't see him meh. And the UK has already bailed after liverpool got terror attacked, the irony. Worst thing is I keep dying to the last alien because i don't suck at combat they just keep getting lucky and i don't have any decent guys because of the early wipes. Down to 3 soldiers lol. Don't think i'm going to bother finishing any classic runs with wipes in the first month.
LOL operation purple future has been my ending I now have 0 guys and 2 more nations in full panic. Month just ended and again the council are weirdly happy, the only thing that hurt my rating was the fact that 4 countries withdrew. Was almost 6 but I had 2 satellites good to go in time, and still another 2 probably going to exit. Screw this run not worth continuing.

On my first game after my a-team wiped inept doing random missions for ages before I attempted it again and there was nothing negative as a result that I could see.

I played a mp game earlier my sniper got stuck on a roof unable to move. Could sometimes shoot people through the roof. Eventually my opponent put all his guys under the roof and shot her to death without me being able to return fire. Also flying units can move through some roofs, i've seen floaters do it, and i've made a drone under my control do it on a ufo supply ship. Also an outsider shot me through a wall when i couldn't see him another time.
No really massive bugs, but annoying when they crop up. At least my interface stopped locking up so much.

I've seen floaters do that too, but normally when they're near an exit to the outside world. The interface pisses me right off when you're inside the larger UFOs and you want to move along a balcony but the cursor will only select the lower floor, unless you zoom out and all you can see is roof. -.- |

yr meant 2 use mouse weel to go up a level rnt you?
I just use gamepad. Way better than mouse in dis game. Wish you could hold down y and put everyone into overwatch tho.
