WDG Fitocracy Group: http://ftcy.me/nQ5ArrBrahms' referral code thing if you want to sign up: http://ftcy.me/APUrHSrunkeeper.com is an OK site if you want to track cardio stuff, and it hooks into Fitocracy so you can still be doing that RPG business. myfitnesspal.com is a good calorie tracker site http://www.eatthismuch.com/ is a nice meal planner site Looking at the WDG group lately it's mainly me and Jebus. But I notice Zarf has started up couch to 5k so that's pretty cool. Really decent programme IMO. Got me into running a year and a half ago. What the rest of you up to? Fitocracy just added swimming badges so Deadly might be due some XP if he logs some of his swims.

No time to run, and Fitocracy doesn't have a category for 'chucking your girlfriend's nieces/nephews around a park for 3 hours straight'.

Really wish fitocracy would actually add some more gamelike elements. When they first launched they talked about stuff like making an actual RPG esque char withRPG esque stats, so if you went running you'd increase your stamina and if you lifted weights you'd improve your strength. That would be cool.
I remember hearing one of those zombie run games had actually got quite a lot of gamification around it. Dun remember which one though.

I use Adidas miCoach ( http://www.adidas.com/micoach). I know a lot of people hate it but I quite like it. You pick the type of training plan you are after and then within each plan there are a number of ability levels which you work your way up. Each run has a series of different speed zones which you need to try and maintain to get a high score (GPS measured) and the length of the runs is mixed up quite a lot which keeps it interesting as it means I run different routes based on far I need to go.

I'm going big into the exercise thing again when I get back to uni as I've got half a year to kill.
Might start using the group, always helps to have something to keep track of things.

Go for it duder. Uni is a pretty good time as you've got lots of free time, youth, cheap gyms and control over your meals.

Not used em but they seem pretty cheap and if it's really no contract you don't stand to lose much if it turns out to be rubbish.

I've started doing a couple more programs, the 100 pushups and 200 situps ones. Will probably add in the 200squats/150dips ones too as they came bundled with the app i installed to keep track of the others.
Been pretty lazy with the c25k this week, housemate kept wanting to go with me "tommorow" so I kept putting it off. I also forgot to log a couple of them from last week. I'm actually still working my way up to fully completing the day1 program (no stops, but I can only manage 6/8 running sections so far)
Weight loss is going well, I'm loving Keto - It's wizardry to eat as much delicious fatty food as i want, feel energetic all day and still shed weight with no hunger pangs. It's fixed the acid reflux I was having too, so it probably helps that i'm not waking up a couple of times every night with that. Dropped 7KG so far in 4 weeks. People already noticing my face looks thinner. Started doing Intermittent Fasting too this week after watching the recent Horizons documentary, the lowdown is that it's amazing for extending lifespans and preventing all kinds of cancers and brain issues like Alzheimers. It's piss easy on Keto because hunger isn't really a factor. Beer is the main thing I miss, but I've been getting into Single Malts instead.

Ordered a pair of those funky running shoes with the individual toes, figured if I was going to run I may as well do it barefoot style and build up the muscles in my feet and calves.

Make sure you build up slow Zarfie. No point pushing it. And if it dun work, just get normal running shoes. Barefoot style isn't the only style.

I've got a friend who has those. He likes them but apparently it feels like you are wearing nothing in terms of protection to the soles of your feet so just need to watch where you run.

I run in vivo barefoots. The sole is tough but if you tread on a pebble you will know about it.

Just went to gym induction, scary man told me exercise is for fools and that I should just do 15 minutes of resistance training a week. Very confused now.
