TBH I wouldn't be trying to diet which involves lowering calorific vales and starting exercise at the same time, just seems like you'll either cheat on the diet (thus negating it) or you won't be able to perform properly for the exercises (also pointless). I'm no expert though.
Also, cheat days can work wonders, so long as they're pre-planned (once a week etc.)

I've got pretty good willpower when it comes to dieting, That was the only meal i've done in 6 weeks. I've done a fair amount of research on my Diet and lots of people before me have followed the same style of C25K and some strength exercises whilst eating at a calorie deficit with good results in both weight loss and performance. As long as I get enough Protein I won't be losing any muscle mass so I'm just concerned with improving what's there and my general fitness levels for now - I'm sure that would be easier/quicker for me on a 2500Calorie normal diet with plenty of carbs but any exercise has got to be better than nothing. Once I'm near my target weight (another 5 months at my current 1KG/week loss rate) I'll start eating a maintenance number of calories and stepping up the exercise more.

Had cracking two weeks with dieting and lost nearly 4 kg, i've ruined it today with TGI's for lunch and an afternoon in a pub beer garden. Also suffering from DOMS after doing weights friday night. hurt a lot more than the resistance machines but felt the weights did more for me.

Week 2 of c25k complete, even though it's a day late (personal life got in the way). I'll be back on track by the end of this week though. Not sure if I'll be able to cope with week 3 though, looks like a big step up.
Was absolutely pissing it down when I was running, felt like a hero in my own movie.

fucked my Achilles up a bit on my run yesterday, it was a little tender before i went out, fine during but it's sore as hell today. The run itself was fine, so I'm less concerned about the impact of carbs on perfomance. Guess i'm getting fitter.
Off for a three day training course in Reading (the town, i'm not illiterate!) tommorow, so i've got a while to rest it. It's going to be a challenge sticking reasonably close to my diet though if i'm not cooking for myself.

WDG fitness cru check in.
Personally not been doing great. Tweaked my chest and so sat out basically a whole month. Getting back into the game now tho so hopefully will start seeing improvements soon. Deff don't want to rush things and injure myself again.
What's happening with all the bods who were posting in here. Zarf? Terror? Guilt? Ally? Deadly? Jebus?

I'm jealous. Think that's about as fast as I've ever run a 5k and that was when I was putting much kms/week into training.
Today mine was more like 28 =[ =[ =[

I got out of habit and now the weather is putting me off getting back on it, wet leaves and hills don't really mix all that we'll with running.

Weather is pretty good for running right now tbh Terror, but I doubt hearing that will do anything to motivate you. In the end you just have to chose whether you want to go out or not. If you want to go out then go out. I don't think that wet leaves should be stopping you.

I used to be able to run well. Getting older and abusing my body through skating didnt help much
