Streamed some Binding of Isaac earlier as a test. Worked fine apart from the fact that my mic is almost inaudible, still was a relief as none of the local recordings I've made have had any audio at all. Will try to get the levels worked out for next time. http://www.twitch.tv/dodgyemu |

Someone suggested this on the SMNC forums already a while back, I only had problems with it tbh. Would rather pay the small fee to get some good audio (but then again the free version of xsplit isnt THAT restricted, only if you wanna go full HD)

Correcting myself a bit. I checked out the newer version today and it has improved on alot of things, I can actually stream on decent quality now and still get a decent ping on multiplayergames. The only issue that remains is that sometimes the stream randomly stops, I had that during the lolgame I played with the other guys where it cut off like 10 minutes before the end or when I just streamed some Guild Wars 2 (It stopped 3 times during 2 1/2 hours). Seems like a real issue, alot of people are having it according to their forums. If they could fix it, it would probably be a very good alternative, Ill keep messing with the streamsettings (e.g. Serverlocation) to see if that improves it.

I had a few streaming issues which were entirely caused by my housemate downloading torrents - after that stopped everything was A-OK. Played for about 3 hours.
Hopefully those that watched it enjoyed it!
I'm pretty sure I've reached parts that I never reached in the multiple times I tried to play HL1! I got to the surface and am currently getting repeatedly mauled by a load of bad dudes. Maybe trying to play it on hard was a bad idea!!
Will stream the rest of my adventures.

HL1 on hard was an absolute fucking nightmare; those marines can throw grenades around corners and make them explode in your front pocket. And the assassins, oh god the fucking assassins...let me know when you're going to be streaming that because I would love to see how you get on  . |
