Hells Bells after goodness knows how many months.....thanks to UKCS and Pledge (a VanillaTV chappie) I've at last managed to play a 6v6 game  Cheesy Pledge has been running newbie 6v6 mixes for the UKCS community.

Definately enjoyed it, a refreshing change from pub. Was told I did ok (!) but I know I need to work on teamwork (mine and relying on other peoples'), I haven't really played TF2 with people before because you don't playing pub as much.

Anyhow, it looks like these will continue as there is a lot of enthusiasm. There will be another one tonight. I know we've been trying to get a group together here and this may help us with this. If anyone is around this evening, just let me know on Steam and I'll see if you can join, anyone can come along, it just depends how many people are around.

It all started about 5.30 (uk time) yesterday. Not sure what time it will start tonight.

I just played my first 6v6 game. The NE/Regen newbie mix group that I think most of you are members of. Was fun, I did quite well as roaming soldier (wanted low responsibility - I reckon a daring assault is only 'overextending' if they kill you).

Didn't know UKCS people were doing something similar. How can I get into that, is there a group?

No, there isn't a group.

Mixes are being run over the weekend and sometimes during the week, probably not this weekend as everyone is at i46.

Announcements are usually made via the forum or peopleget together in Mumble. They know I'm interested so they let me know and I drag along whoever is on-line at the moment. Cautet has come along, think last time youwere off-line.
