A nice video showing that youre able to get through dungeons without a Guardian or any other tankspecced character or healer, thus rendering the "holy trinity" of MMOs unnecessary.

Sadly I never got to lvl 30 during any of the betaevents to actually try it out for myself, but the videos Ive seen looked very good and I look forward to going through the dungeons myself. The only worry I have right now is that Arenanet havent really shown any other dungeon besides Tombs of Ascalon. They mentioned another one around the lvl 50 area, but other than that theyve kept really quiet about it. I hope the game has enough endgame content besides PvP, I know that wont be the games focus but Id miss good old 5man dungeons from WoW if there werent any in this.

Theyre doing another stresstest in an hour, game should be playable for around 4 hours again.

I think theres only 2 different versions? They added the headstart-preorderitem in the last stresstest on tuesday finally. But honestly, its nothing special, its a nice little statbost for the beginning, but if you take Jewelry as one of your jobs youll be able to make better trinkets very early on. The other deluxe-edition gives you this little pet that gives you access to the bank which is only really helpful when youre in a big guild and have a guild vault (farming for the guild vault will take ages if they keep the same influencepoint-prices from the beta). If youre still indecisive, Id recommend get the standart version.

Not necessarily. GW2 has a guesting system, meaning you can join your friend on another server with your character to quest or do Dungeons with him, the only thing restricted is WorldvWorld. It doesnt require you to be on the same server for a guild aswell, you can have people from all over the world in your guild.

Yeah, I wouldn't know which server to pick otherwise and if some (if not all) of us can be on the same server then that would be awesome!

Desolation sounds nice, if only because I hear it in my head said like "Decimation" from Netstorm and then I usually start doing my impression of a storm priest doing a sacrifice.
