I've played about with livestreaming in the past and always ended up relying on Livestream Procaster due to ease.

Without buying any hardware can anyone offer up any suggestions as a replacement for Procaster, as it's far too low resultion for my liking.

Does anyone have any experience with another option such as Xsplit? I'm tempted to give it a go, but I'd much rather hear opinions than pay them for something that may not live up to my expectations. It's a shame the beta license doesn't include game capture by deafult, at least for a trial run.

Xsplit is good and has all you need when just streaming vidya, try it out while you can, its gonna become non-free pretty soon (and will be quite expensive).

I grabbed the beta to give it a whirl, but it doesn't support DX or OGL capture without a license. Don't fancy running my games in windows just to stream. unless I'm missing something?

Seems to be the unfortunate sideeffect. For LoL and HoN I couldnt find any other solution to this other than running it in windowmode with Shiftwindow unfortunately. The new Gamecapture method seems to solve that but thats prepurchase only as of now.

I know the ideal solution will always be hardware capture, I'm resiting the temptation to splash out on a intesity pro and relocate my second PC. The cheap option will always win for me.
