Well I finished it now, except for the password for the PC in the last chapter, I take it you have to solve the riddle to be able to access that? Can't be bothered collecting all the letters now, is it worth it?

Otherwise, nice little game, even got a bit better story wise once you reach a certain point and understand wtf is going on.

One thing I disliked is that they change the control scheme during the actual mission, I would much prefer the control scheme they have during the intros.

And I hoped the second encounter at the phone company would play out exactly the same way as the first one and the game would just end there. The anwers that are coming after that are pretty lame.

Oh and actually - how do you end up taking the calls anyway?

It changes the meaning of the ending entirely or better said gives you more context so Id say go for it or atleast watch it on youtube.

Watched it on youtube, yeah that explains it much better. Wish that was the normal ending, since not many would go for collecting all the letter, I guess and the normal ending is a bit weak. Anyway, nice little game. Looking forward for what they will improve in the sequel.

Also deadly throws are even better than deadly doors.

Quite interesting but no Walking Dead...not sure if I'd pay the full amount as it could get a bit samey but the demo gives a good run at it. It ended badly several times for my survivors.

I powered through the new Splinter Cell Blacklist today. Its really good. They kept the same gameplay from Conviction but the maps are way more open again and apart from a few rare moments and oddly placed firstperson segments it doesnt force you into combat anymore, so you can technically play the entire game apart from a few bossencounters 100% stealth nonlethal. They categorize your actions into 3 playstyles that range from completely silent over stealth kills to Call of Duty, the scoring feels similiar to Hitman Absolution with Leaderboards and the such. Its great for replayability I will try a 2nd playthrough on Call of Duty mode and see how that goes.
I dunno the game is just cool, cool presentation, cool characters, you cant really replace Michale Ironside and not feel disappointed, but the new guy they got did a good job, Sam Fisher is Adam Jensen now and looks like Commander Shepard.
I havent even gottten to Spies vs. Mercs yet, I loved the multiplayer in Chaos Theory and Pandora Tomorrow, from what Ive seen on streams it looks pretty reminiscent so thats good.

Also a great PC Port with lots of graphical settings, its crashing a few times at the moment when I tried to access the loadouts but it saves frequently so there wasnt any backtracking when that happens.

first time(well after some huge failing embarks), I've looked up some tutorials now and I will try to not die as quickly. Surely!

Also, this isn't raw DF, it uses the Myne tileset. I don't mind ASCII that much after playing Cataclysm: DDA and just playing roguelikes in general.

Does that transfer over on things like info (are the animal characters the same)? I prefer tilesets largely for quick glance info on what something is, ease on the eye aside; Phoebus is my set of choice.

I used the wiki's quickstart guide when starting out, gets you far enough in to be comfortable and start thinking about military, etc.

Yep when I forgot basic stuff I look things up at the wiki now. I don't know exactly what you mean 'transfer over on things'  and tilesets are pretty much a thing of preference(I didn't like Phoebus that much) and I try to use hotkeys as much as possible.

Myne is like a prettier version of the vanilla DF. I'd say try it if you feel like Phoebus is getting boring ;P.
