Played a few games which had heavy tanks in, and they just get one shots all over the show, and come up against them and it's game over.

Meh, just makes me want to get a heavy and go fuck up some noobs as well

Question, trying to get points in my bt-7 to go up a level, teh problem is that the biggest gun isn't even scratching the heavy or medium tanks that I keep being pitted against.

I can't choose my maps, opposition, levels, and I can't do the damage

Apart from running away and trying to look for their weak tanks/arty any ideas what I can do to be more useful to my team?

Tough one. If you've got the speed, then a fast kamikaze scouting run to highlight the buggers is all I can think of.

As a BT-7 you are a fast scout. Use ur speed and the terrain to shield you from enemy fire. Don't travel straight, zig zag and move eratically, bound from cover to cover, be unpredictable, you've speed enough to afford to backtrack, keep them guessing. Work with the TD's and SPG's to highlight targets for them. Do fast in & out scout runs. Don't throw away your tank on suicidal charges. U'll get more xp surviving the battle than dying. Don't blitz off at the begining, wait for a few minutes to see the formation of ur own forces, look to see where u can be of use. Exploit obvious holes in the enemies defences. Wolf packing with other fast tanks (Luchs, Leopard, T-26, T2MT etc) to take out vulnerable enemy SPG's or get around the rear of TD's is useful.

Had a platoon game with Deadly -> f*cking awesome fun.  Really excellent.

Converted to developing my Russian tanks for a bit, Just stuck the 45mm on the MS-1 starter tank.. nice. This explains a number of my deaths against smaller MS-1 tanks!

Any way of getting a bigger platoon or bigger group together without premium account?

I suppose with Mumble, we could go multi-platoon but there is no guarantee all platoons would be on same server.

Though sucks.... just hit a medium three times in the complete ass, should have destroyed it, 10% damage, it turns and turns me into dust in one shot.

I know they should be better, medium vs light etc, but that is just silly

Need another 40k to get my next light tank.... and still another jump or two to a medium

No. All u can do is time ur entry and hope to get assigned to the same game. 5 man platoons coming next year, Quarter 1.

BTW... Can you get a flak 88 in this game? If so, i'll be researching artillery pieces.

The only version of the Flak '88 that u can get, it the vehicle modified version the 88 Kwk 36 and it's variants, mounted on the Tiger and a few others. The majority of German SPG's used a variety of 150mm pieces, the later models using guns up to 210mm.

A friend of mine has. I forget what it's called but he used  to have pictures of it up on his wall as a teenager.

Other people I know do too and rave about them to me given the chance. I suspect it's common.

No real favourite, but in terms of tanks with reputation, the German Tiger is a favourite, as a feat of manufacture rather than an appreciation of the terrible regime that used the weapon.
