It is indeed a monumentally sad here at (=WDG=) as I have the sad task of announcing that the following clan members have decided to leave us today: LtMama CaptainValentine DodgyEmu Burnalot Abda Tommy the Cat They have decided to pursue a competitive TF2 based path and felt that they could no longer do this with (=WDG=) tags on and feel that their attitude towards TF2 no longer fits in with the ethos of the clan as they want to move into super SRZ BZNZ BEST TEAM EU etc. I personally would like to thank each and every one of them for their contribution to the clan over the last few years / months etc., the very fond memories I have of them from their time within the clan and they will be sorely missed by everyone. They ensure me that they will still be around and they will still come to LANs with us etc and they are of course more than welcome on Server #1 at any time. Let us all join to together to mourn their leaving and to wish them luck in ETF2L and whatever other leagues they decide to take part in in the future! brb crying.  |

This isn't goodbye, it's just we'll never see each other again.
I know how this must look but I want all WDG and Regs alike to know that I will always consider WDG my gaming home and have the fondest memories of all of you and would like to thank all for letting me join in the first place and just generally putting up with me. We'll still have a space next to you guys at lan's if you'll let us
My reasons for leaving is that I think TF2 is slowly dying and I would like to have one last go at a competitive team to see how far I can go.

WDG is still a big thing for me. I intend to remain active in the community as much as I am now (probably more so) but I feel that my views differ too much from those of the clan ethos.
I hope no one is too upset / angry over this decision.
Also Cruelcow, I suppose I'll be under your banner again. You sly bastard.

What Tommy said. I dont think this will affect anyone here outside the scrim team and maybe the admin staff really. Ill still be playing on #1 from time to time (even if its been rare lately) but other than that, we'll still see us here in the forums or on mumble or on servers  Thanks alot to the WDG admin staff for the great support we had over these last months that this newly formed scrim team played for them! |
