Nice pics, I like the fact my volcano lair is visible from space (far mid right)   There seems to be tons of desert and what happened to the spawn area whilst I was absent? It seems to be all wintery. |

Well the xp farm exploded last night when 2 creepers managed to make their way into the output pipe, thus killing everything and shattering the tube.
I'm afraid to go back and fix it as every time you come close it shits out mobs uncontrollably.

Nope, still stuck at y=128. Which is a shame, as my tower is only about 16 blocks from the new altitude limit. |

maybe they are planning to make portals above 128 as how you get to the skylands dimension, which is why they haven't fixed that :p
I think that would be awesome, and you could make random floating interchanges in the overworld at the switchover between them going to nether or skylands
