I also logged in and was at a different spot from logging out. Like miles different. Also any items I had on me were missing and the chest I had buried was empty completely. I don't know if this was a bug or if someone has hacked( I don't know much about it tbh). I didnt have much but thought i would let you know in case it is a hacking problem

tbh its probably bugged. Notch already mentioned there were some they missed. As usual. Will hopefully see a hotfix next week.
I can't see any save errors in the console, moved players and empty chests does suggest map corruption though. If its just effecting chest contents for now my advice would be to hold onto your most valuable items and try to store some things as blocks if you can.

Had a bit of an explore, with my new map, and stumbled on a settlement south of spawn. Mound of lava, large ranch with trenches, but no sign, so now I'm curious who lives down here! Also found some chickens a little further south in a swamp. Now just need a way to get them back to my house for breeding.

Ok, chicken and sheep farms now successfully set up near my house near spawn. Feel free to grab eggs, though if you want to breed sheep for wool, you'll need to kill them off afterwards to prevent overcrowding.  |
