This almost fits your situation perfectly Lully, call the child Polar Bear. http://www.battersea.org.uk/cats/bubbylulley_polar.htmlThe only difference being that these are cats, the child is female, and Lulley the cat has no partner called Power. But it's basically the same.

Babys room is done now Last week I went to the hospital to fill out some forms and the midwife could feel that Babys head is in starting position already, false labour started a while ago (pretty often though since yesterday).. So we will see if baby wants to stay inside for 4 more weeks or not

So today I heard what could happen during birth because of my weight and the high blood pressure. The doctor said it would be better to choose the other hospital because there are always paediatricians around and if a abdominal delivery has to be made it would be possible within minutes.
Thanks doc. Now I'm scared like hell.

They're experts, they know what they're doing, don't worry. Just relax and remember to do that panting thing.

I would not worry too much about it. Doctors just like to have their arses covered for legal reasons. In doing so he has managed to scare the hell out of you with the "what if" scenarios. As we say in England: Keep calm and carry on.

Yes this.
He is also making sure that you will be making a fully informed choice.
They do the same for everything medical these days. Making people aware but unfortunately scaring them too half the time. My mum was fine about her heart op until she spoke to her surgeon (it went fine by the way)
Just don't worry, you're nearly there now.

Thanks guys! After crying about it to Paul, my mother, a friend and here I'm calm now Not that happy because I tried to make an appointment for the registration and she told me the next free appointment would be the 2.5. That will be too late I guess So now I have to see if they can find another appointment for me. Well, maybe Baby will be born in the bathtub at home

The doctors always have to look at the worst case scenario. The doesn't mean it's even likely to happen.
