OMG... this sequel is just amazing. All the elements of the original fun - online multiplayer, adrenaline rush maps with stunts and speed, lots of servers to try. All for £20. Graphics update looks just great, and gameplay is superb (try with a gamepad for best results!). Can play against friends online, so well worth it. NOT a realistic racer, but if you love arcade style races that are easy to get into and enjoy.. pick it up now. You wont regret it  |

I gave in and bought it yesterday, just as much fun as the original and it looks amazing. I've also had a play around in the track editor which is actually pretty easy to use.

preorder? I thought it was already out? Is there any advantage to preordering it? Or is it the kind of game that's going to be price marked down really soon?
What's it like? I vaguely played the free version of the first one and it seemed like a kind of quick pick up and try to finish a level in a fast time sort of game. Is that the same for this?

It's officially released on the 14th. You can 'pre-order' now and get access to the beta which allows you to play online. It's very similar to the first game, but it looks much better and the customisation seems much better, although I think that'll only be available on release.

Full product now unlocked. Single player available now, and a great addition to multiplayer mode.
Particularly like that you can upload your single player lap times and performance for other people to race against (again in single player mode). There are league tables for each track and you can choose to race against my best performance, or another friend or just a CPU player.
The number of tracks in single player is excellent, but the number of tracks being made out there is stunning, I see new tracks every time I play. Best thing is that the game downloads or sorts maps automatically. You don't have to do anything, just join a server.
Haven't played with track editor. Painting your own car is s laugh.
Gameplay fast, challenging and fun.
Very high quality game, been clearly thought out and a bargain for the £20 I paid.
Very, very pleased. Join me in a game if you will.
