RPS impressions. Looks interesting, but I've got too many other games to complete at the moment.

Anyone want to buy Black & White? Will run on most PCs although you will probably need Chaos's rig to get 1000 FPS

Ubisoft is slowly becoming one of the worst companys ever. Thats where I rather pay 12 bucks for DLC if its for a game that has proper PC support and no shitty DRM. And people say Kotick is bad, heh its a business, and Ubisoft doesnt know how to run it.

was worried about this. I'm going to wait for the drm to get patched out, and see if they fix the port up a bit.

So... apart from connectivity requirements / possibly badly ported code, what is the actual game like? Anyone with a review?

The game itself is great, but it is very obviously a console port. The controls just aren't suited to keyboard/mouse, you use your mouse as though it were a thumbstick and a few keys on the keyboard to do other stuff. That being said, the menus work fine with keyboard/mouse. Apparently turning off "Mouse scroll" in the options fixes this. I've also heard some people complaining about performance issues, but I've not had any of those. There are no graphics options other than resolution, but as far as I can tell it has automatically maxed everything and it plays great. My only issue with the actual gameplay is that the AI dudes are pretty stupid. They seem to react very slowly to me making them a temporary route through an enormous river, so that by the time they start running the river is overflowing and they get washed away. Also, this happens. A lot.
