If theres a new map (and you let me  ) I'll definitely be in. missed the start of the last one and it never feels the same to be a latecomer on a map once its built up, its like your trepassing, I have an urge to rebuild my lighthouse. The floating mountain seed looks good. |

well the most important question has been answered anyway the old map is dead and we will be starting a new map of some description. i'll upload the old map anyway and there will probably be some kindof admin mod capable of map switching.

I'm happy with any map, really. A fresh map would be nice, though (either seed or random). Happy as long as I have a large expanse of water to hide away in.

anyone can play but there will be a whitelist. just post your minecraft username up when we post a thread with the server details. just want to keep track of who is on it and have some medium of announcing things to them ie through the forum.

Again, for me, personally - I think this spoils the fun of it if you can just teleport around the place. I think if you're going to do that then you might as well switch off monsters etc. But I guess it depends on whether or not you want survival multiplayer (the best IMO) or just a place to build stuff without fear of destruction. |

i strongly agree with deadly on this one. i have only just started playing single and the idea of being able to telelport around the map is offputting entirely. half of the fun is the journey and if it means taking an entire day to go from one location to another that should be part of that.
also if its a personal teleporter then even worse as i got completely lost once looking for cows then ended up having to try to crawl home in the night eventually having to dig out the top of a hill to make a quick cave. was quite chaotic and part of the fun trying to get out of the creepers.
turns out my home was the other side of the hill lol!
also is there a difficulty level on multiplayer?

Agree with deadly, since it would also put poor disco out of the rail business. Don't all portals come back to the same one?
Only due to a bug. I think that has been fixed now (or has rather transformed into 18 smaller bugs). |
