I'm surprised more people aren't bothered by the fact that it never shows kills top left, why would they do that? surely the point is that these vids will show kill spreee's... but if I can't see the kills listed whats the point (a big mess of blood could be 2-3-4-5-6 people etc)

I think its because they are server demos not POV (why the kill icons don't highlight on your kills when they are showing). I guess it was felt it could confuse things if you decided to take the POV of someone else but it kept highlighting the wrong kills etc. They prob decided that it was easier to leave it out than add options to include kills, choosing whose kills are to be highlighted etc.
