Onboard still I assume. Try disabling it in your bios and see if it still crashes.

P67 doesn't have onboard, only the H67 does.
I've just got off the phone to him and he's getting an error message when trying to uninstall the graphics drivers in safe mode, so I'm fairly sure its that. Getting him to try repairing, then installing and reinstalling. Will post back with more news.

I meant onboard sound, meant to quote the bit where he said he diddn't have a sound card. Using Ati Tray Tools by any chance Tommy? They've cause me no end of hassle in the past.

Just had a crash not involving a steam game. Or any game for that matter. Interestingly I can leave this machine on for days (FUCK THE ENVIRONMENT) and not crash but it will when I'm doing something. Maybe the ram is the problem then?

Wonder if it might be the motherboard and something related to interrupts?
Can you try your graphics card in a different slot?
Also - I'm still thinking it might be a faulty power supply - I swear mine used to have problems like that...until I replaced it.

Was having same issues with my old power supply, but have got a new one since then. I'll try putting the GFX card in a different slot tonight and see if that changes anything.

Also try changing the RAM over. I did some googling the other day and someone suggested going into the BIOS and setting the RAM speed, volts and timings manually and turning off XMP something or other, I'll see if I can find the article.

I had no end of trouble with my sister's PC until I set the RAM up manually.

Think I might have discovered the problem, not 100% though. I have this mobo (w/ P67 chipset) and This ram designed "specifially for the P55 chipset. Reckon these two are conflicting and won't work together? Just about to try manually setting the RAM, will let know if improvement.

Miserable I just can't bear it when stuff like this happens. The last issue I had..screen froze and everything locked up, but only when I was playing Lord of the Rings. Just browsing was okay. Turned out, my hard drive was on the way out...LOTRO accesses the hard drive a lot, more than other games, so that was when it happened.
