I wouldn't be looking to plug it in. Too risky. Unless there was evidence it was possible. I never even thought of port security.
Someone on the Multiplay forum asked if she could dry and straighten her hair at her pc in the main hall. It was suggested it was not a good idea, she might end up tripping out the power to a row of PCs and not be popular!
Anyhow, wait and see is the best bet. It won't be the end of the world if not...I'm never bored around computer-type stuff and I'll have a whole LAN to go at.

Yesterday I heard that I will have an unplanned vacation in the end of August/beginning of September... And I was like:  maybe I can go to i43 too! I told Power about it, had a look at the tickets..then I realised: i43 is one weekend earlier than I thought, so I will have a kid here on thursday and friday.... then I was like:  Have fun though |

LOL @ Berath appearing to be the probation offiicer..... And superb that everyone has a plan to assist in getting your laptop in. Claws - you should really get to one of these LAN's mate - you'll have fun! Same goes for anyone else, turn up, find the humongous WDG flag and have a grin. Don't be scared now! The *only* advice I will give (apart from stay away from beer trays), is don't go near LtMama whilst he's in a chat roulette session! Don't forget to get a group photo at the event.... and shall we consider (in the future) getting CruelCow a mock WDG T-Shirt since he's a groupie and so obviously wants to be a clan member (once he's given up on the one man project that is T-Regs ) PS. CruelCow and Mode have amazing hair. |
