£200 just for sleeping? Tent seems a much better option.
£100 each (2 people sharing), closer than the camp site, personal shower, shitter and a bed. It costs a fair bit yes, but if you can afford it, why not? |

LOL  I'm giving serious consideration to a day pass. Turn up. Walk about. Take in the sights. Say "hello". I think I've got holiday time about this time. Last weekend in August? I take it you can just turn up on the day and say "Hello my good fellow. A 24 hour pass please". De Ja Voue. I think I've asked this before? I am not camping....being in a tent in a field full of rampant, over-excited, drunk teenage boys does not sound enticing. I'm too old! And too female!

The day tickets are only £10. I spend that much a week on cake. So it's affordable, easily
The weekend tickets are £25.
Only £15 extra, I probably spend that much a month buying gaming magazines so I won't loose much if I don't make it on Saturday.
If the worst comes to the worst and I decide to come up on Saturday and there is no accommodation, I can always crash in the Ladies. There'll be loos there (a choice of loos in fact), a place to wash and a mirror to do my hair in the morning.
Job done.

There's usually some form of redroom (large hall with heatlamps all over the place) you can crash in but I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy to be honest.

Weekend could be tempting. It's only 87 miles. So about 1 and a half to 2 hours drive. Although tails of beer tray assault and smelly nerds aren't selling it very well  |
