hahaha my gamestop wants 70 Euros for this. NOPE.avi. Ive had it with retailers and publishers charging up to 20 more than the usual "fullprice". Not with me.

Got Mass Effect 2 for 19,99 instead. Great game, will prob. enjoy that more than this (+ I'll have a savegame for 3 which Ill also get for eggsbox)

Buying games from an actual bricks and mortar shop is a mugs game tbh, you can usually get ~£10 off just by going through Amazon/Play, not to mention the Steam/other DD sites sales pretty much quaterly. Plus, with the all the day 1 patches and massive problems on release, you're almost better off waiting and getting the game in a sale as it'll a) be cheap as fook and b) work .

I know but theres a new procedure of getting 18+ games here in germany since last year where they only give out the package if you yourself are on the other end. And my postman only delivers at 11am when Im in school. Ive had that before in september with CoD4, it took them 2 fucking weeks before they finally decided to store it at a post office where I could pick it up. So I usually have to rely on retailers (my local gamestop, yuk, or as I like to call it "we repackage used games and sell them for full price"-shitstore) to get 18 rated games.

Played the demo.

I've got to say, the combat system has speeded up quite a bit, but I don't think it's worse. A buddy of mine said it would be button-bashing like in Diablo, but this isn't true...
I played as a mage, and I can really see crowd-control being necessary in lots of fights. Story line is typically Dragon age, not rushed, takes its time.
Conversations are better now, because your character actually speaks (= has its own voice), and it clearly shows you the moral path you're about to choose: good, neutral, evil.

Oh, graphically speaking... it looks f*cking awesome, Bioware didn't lie about that...

The only thing that really freaked me out though is the attack animation on my mage. He's like a bloody ninja ! Pew pew pew pew lazorbeamz ! (At some point I thought he was going to "shuroken" at a darkspawn) What I mean is: it's a little over the top sometimes.
Then again, when I saw one of my companions - a rogue - attack some bandits, well heck yes, that was very awesome.

Pretty sure I'm going to buy it.

Have given it a fair few hours now, still really diggin it. Spent the first 12 hours doing all the sidequests before cracking a story mission. Game is challenging on normal difficulty even with my stupid choices made during picking a team.

Have just done the first story mission, a return to the deep roads. Probably took me an hour, compared to the 12 hours it took me to do the deep roads in the first one. I do like how everything doesn't feel like such an epic grind like the first.

Just been given a bunch more side missions to do, but they're a whole lot harder now.

Would still highly recommend.

Are all the quests half hour jolly-ups though? I liked some of the massive insane 12 hour jobbies...

my experiance is that the most quests are pretty short.
playing on hard makes it feel better for me, the fights felt unfulfilling on normal..
like tommy said, it isn't as epic as Origins, still don't know how to think of it..
I will give more impressions when I finished it.
