Early reports are saying that the single player in this is CoD in Crysis' nanosuit; it's gone from the massive open world explore and do things your own way (ie, spend 15 minutes running through a jungle to get to the next roadblock) to more linear, scripted set pieces. Interest has been piqued, but not enough to drop my monthly game budget on, will wait until its Steam sale fodder and probably pick it up then though as I am intruiged by it now.

Thats only halftrue, its still 10000000% more open than any other big shoot the mens out there. I really love it, I think im halfway trough the campaign now and Im really enjoying it. Ive spent the same amount of time in multiplayer, its buggy at some points (the killcam looks weird, sometimes the music goes 1000% louder and kills your ears) but alot of fun, the maps are really cool and offer a lot of variety. Same applies to the gameplay, in particular the nanosuit and its perks you can use. Overall I would say the multiplayer feels like a faster Halo Reach and thats good!

That being said, Im quite disappointed by the AI. While they are really good at longrangecombat (flanking and taking cover) they act retarded in close combat and often times glitch out horribly (being stuck in walls, COMPLETELY ignoring you or running in circles). But from what Ive heard thats an issue on the console versions due to different loading mechanisms which can cause those glitches, so the AIs probably a bit better on the PC.

Reviews say 11-12 hours, I already put in around 4 hours (which is enough for finishing Homefront and Blops LOLZ) and as I said Im probably halfway through, playing more rambo style at points.
