pew pew. I finished all the unlocks now, not that that will stop me driving vehicles but I might change to a different one or something. Scout helicopters are pretty good transports if you request a pick up.

I am div 1 EU @ Chopper piloting now people (unfortunately I'm lacking the best unlocks to go full on beast mode), I shall carry you to glory. Srsly though the links posted on the Game Mechanics and Strategy thread ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUYXGBZ_Jvk&feature=iv&src_vid=9wSSDHY8eu8&annotation_id=annotation_180991 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNx-7Llzec0) are worth a watch. If nothing else, letting you know where to pitch the crosshair forward and back to go forward and back wards with out nose/tail diving into the ground. You throw that in with a bit of a fly around session on an empty server, piloting becomes alot less of a mystery

-Increased the damage of the Javelin and Air to Ground missiles against laser designated targets.
Wait, what? Laser guided Javelin already disables tanks with one hit, how much more will it do now? -Laser Guided missiles can now be distracted by Flares.
Uhh, I don't think that's canon... But all in all, a good patch imho. They're mixing up AA quite a bit, I wonder how that'll pan out.

Uhh, I don't think that's canon... Ah yes, the well know gravitational lensing effect on lasers due to the incredible mass of flares......

It took me forever to read that list. Theres some really important gameplay changes especially to vehicles. Stingers are buffed for instance but now below radar blocks them. Bunch of significant changes to jets, helis, tanks.
Also the armour rounds for ifvs got buffed, they were already the best alternate weapon but now seriously? The only time an enemy ifv could kill you with the tow or guided was if they had reactive armour and you didn't, seems like the armour rounds might win even then if the buff is big enough.

Saw the video for close combat. Looks like ass. Probably buy it just to get the guns though... might have become a sucker.
