Does anyone less annoying do long plays like total biscuit but not really annoying?

Ive been following this guy for some time now. He puts some effort into his videos instead of going "LAWL LETS PLAY" for 20 minutes.

Yeah.. he seems a lot less annoying... Total Biscuit has to be the most irritating man of all time, and watching him do stupid things constantly drives me insane.

Though this guy does seem to have tourettes?

have played enough now to come to terms with the guns, and the map is ok, although its going to suck when everyone knows it. Only thing thats been really annoying in the beta so far is the removal of the squad management screen, now it just always drops me in squad snipe and camp and do nothing. You can drop out of the squad and look for a new one which instantly puts you back in the same squad

heh metro does lend itself too well to rpg spam, just fired 3 rockets in rapid fire, 1 random 2 roughly aimed, 3 kills .

So, do I order this or not? Like the visuals, not liking the sound of the poor quality beta.. help!

BF games always release in an unplayable state but Dice, to their credit, do patch their games for a long time. The reason I preordered is that it was £25 and came with a map pack. If you don't pre order you might end up having to buy the map pack yourself later and it'll just add cost.

In the end, it's battlefield, people will play it, probably for the next couple of years, and it doesn't tend to show up in steam sales too much. May as well pre order it, just don't expect that to mean you'll get to play it when it comes out.

My strategy is wait and see. It's only gonna get cheaper, not more expensive.
If it's good, you only lost a few days headstart that others get, if it's bad you save your money.

They can keep their stinking map pack. If they don't want to split the community they'll release it for free later down the line.

Its actually in better shape than the other bf betas ive been in, game is fairly stable and i've only seen a few bugs. You can't actually get under the level the killcam is just broken and goes under the level when your killer is dead. You can glitch into certain rocks and shoot through them but its map specific to metro and I certainly won't be playing metro by choice after release. I've not seen anything gamebreaking or anything that spoils the stats system like ro2s still broken stats. Cruel just found a tweet confirming that they've broken and won't fix making squads with randoms which is annoying and some stuff that shouldn't be is in the battlelog but that boils down to can you run the game in windowed mode. Why they couldn't put the menus in-game as well I don't know but eh.

Try the beta no reason not to, if you can run it without any major problems I'd probably preorder if you intend to buy it at any point. BC2 is still £20 you won't save much waiting.

hmm forgot to check amazon, looks like it took 5 months to be consistently available at £13. Considering more people will be playing more often in the first 5 months though meh. Personally I don't think missing out on the early battles with a couple of squads in play is worth saving £13, playing with randoms is now more dodgy because of no squad manager, no voice comms etc. Also you get squad buffs which i don't relish trying to sort out with random squadmates who has what. The game expects you to use partys in battlelog to sort everything and get squad comms

Its still primarily a mp game so you need to get it early for max enjoyment or be condemned to playing with randoms.
