Guys, is Homeland any good?

quoted from nearly a year ago, but needs a response. Yes, yes, yes and yes. Absolutely fantastic. IMO on par, if not surpasses, shows like breaking bad etc. Brilliantly written, and fantastically acted. I'm midway through season 2 and I am fucking dying for the next episode. If you start watching, all I can say is, the finale of season 1, hold onto your seat, you're in for a fucking ride. (I don't even mean that dramatically, I was literally on the edge of my seat for that episode, amazing)

FUN FACT: 2 of the main characters are british, one of which since he is fairly well known, but another I only recently found out so was very suprised, but who, WHOOOOO?

EDIT: If you havent yet watched the latest Derren Brown special, it's a two part episode, concluding this friday that so far, is worth watching. Basic synopsis, Derren convinces a self centered man who takes everything he has for granted that the world has ended, 28 days later, zombie apocalypse style (the show is titled Apocalypse), but through the process, better the man as a human being and realise what he takes for granted.

So few shows where you see genuine terror and courage in the less than an hour, worth watching :3

Anyone else watch that Richard III car park documentary thing last night? Looked for a moment like it would be an interesting archaeological documentary but quickly veered into a fascinating look at the sheer fucking insanity of a worldwide community dedicated to clearing the name of Richard III.

Oh yes, it's pretty well thought of. I did't watch it though; I tend to be rather traditional about my zombies. I prefer them lumbering and mindless.

It was a different look at them though and I think there will be a second series.

Hearing good things about Hannibal and American Horror Story. Going to see if I can get my hands on them.

I only watch American Horror Story and I can tell while it's weird and I enjoy it for that, there is barely any coherent story going on in the whole of the first season except for "this is a house and weird things happen here".

Hannibal is awesome. One of my favourite series in a while.

Currently watching Elementary which so far seems okay. Its basically Sherlock Holmes in New York with a female Watson played by Lucy Liu. Actually kinda works.

Been spending my spare series-time over the last few weeks watching the entirety of King of the Hill, currently on Season 4. Damn that show is fucking awesome. I remember seeing some of it as a kid on MTV back in the day but never really cared about it, but man sofar Im liking it more than I ever did South Park or other animated shows. I hope MTV gets off their asses and gives Mike Judge another shot at bringing back Beavis & Butthead, that new season that ran two years ago was great!
