Still, The Tod is a highly funny character throughout.

Its the kind of show I have running on my second monitor whilst I'm doing something I actually enjoy. I started it, so I'll finish it.

I certainly wouldn't watch it on TV when my attention is trapped and I could be watching almost anything else.

I don't have a regular job or income and yet somehow there aren't enough hours in the day for all the stuff I compulsively need to do (forums, webcomics, manga, books, tv, games etc etc). I don't think I'll find time for a normal relationship unless Piracy is made impossible.

Meh, never really liked the new Doctor Who, just too cheesy and lame IMO. Contrary to appearances I don't really think it's written for proper Sci-Fi fans, which is probably why it's so popular.

The quality of episodes varies a lot, but Stephen Moffat's episodes are pretty consistently great- Blink got complaints for literally making kids shit the bed, and the two library episodes were among the best things I saw on TV in the last decade. Since he's now running the show, the latest series has had a bit less crap mixed in with the gems, and Moffat's brave enough to go with a couple of slow burning overarching storylines rather than having some bullshit recurring word across a single series.

Also, Karen Gillan.

I tried watching Doctor Who. I got as far as the point when they made Catherine Tate a main character, then I just said 'fuck this'. That said, Blink is an excellent episode and it requires no knowledge of the back story. I'd recommend people to watch it, even if you normally hate Doctor Who.
